Safeguarding with VotesforSchools
Through VotesforSchools, every pupil gets a weekly, anonymous way to say what's actually going on, and every comment they submit gets read behind the scenes by our own team of qualified teachers. Add statutory coverage for KCSIE and Prevent, plus real-time data broken down by year group and gender, and you've got a second set of eyes on your school covering ground no single person could manage alone.
Every vote is anonymous, but the pattern underneath it isn't invisible. If a chunk of Year 8 boys say they wouldn't recognise an unhealthy relationship, that shows up as a year-group and gender breakdown you can act on, not a hunch you'd need weeks to confirm. You'll have your own login, separate from your SLT's.

Every comment submitted is reviewed weekly by our own team of qualified teachers. Comments are anonymous at pupil level but show your school's name, so if something concerning comes up, we contact you directly for your team to investigate.
Weekly, not in real time. If you need to know about a disclosure the moment it happens, that's still down to your own staff hearing it live in the room and your existing referral process. Our review is a second layer on top of that, not a replacement for it.
No - comments are anonymous at pupil level, even to us. We can tell you which school and roughly which class or year group, so your own staff can take it from there using their existing knowledge of your pupils.
Yes - even within your own school, nobody can trace a vote back to an individual pupil. What you see is aggregate: broken down by year group, class or gender, never by name.
Yes, you can have as many log-ins as you need. We recommend each staff member having their own account, so that they can download the resources easily, view curriculum coverage and see their class data. From your account you can also monitor participation, and see which classes have logged their vote.
Beyond your own school's results, we publish a weekly national report showing how schools across the country voted, and share the aggregate picture with organisations and government bodies working on that topic - never anything that could identify an individual pupil or school. No extra training required. Every lesson arrives zero-prep with full context built in. It doesn't replace the safeguarding training your staff already have - it just means they're not improvising the content of a difficult conversation on top of everything else. If you do need any extra support or would like to run a full staff training session, you can book one easily with one of our team.
The weekly comment review is ours, not yours - you don't need to read every submission. You'll only hear from us directly if something needs your attention.
